  Nice location on the cliff top but overpriced and poor quality food - nearly £12 for a badly dried out salt beef sandwich and chips. At least the wine and weather were good. Go for the drinks, view and sun, but eat elsewhere.

  We booked this hotel on a recommendation for the night before and night of our wedding. The room was a superior room overlooking the sea, which could not be faulted, however the service in this hotel is somewhat lacking, especially for the prices it charges.
  On the Friday night I was in the bar with friends, there was a queue and the service slow. A gentleman in front of me spoke to the bar staff, explained that he had a restaurant booking for 1830 (it was 1820 at the time) and asked if his party could go in a little early. The staff members reply was No, if you come back at 1830 you can go in (How professional NOT), My party ate in the restaurant, food was ok, but service was slow unless you chased the staff.
  On the Sunday morning we had booked a party of 20 for breakfast, when we went to the room, there was no obvious tables set for that amount of people and when we spoke with the staff member she said oh we have reserved places over there (12) Ill make these two tables up now. Our guests began to arrive and we felt ignored. My son eventually went into the restaurant and ordered his and his families meal and drinks, as they had other things to do later that morning. They were served and despite the fact that we and our other guests sitting at tables waiting to be served no one bothered. Through lack of patience and intense annoyance I managed to get a staff member to take our orders for tea and coffee, we had now been sitting down some 30 minutes. When this was being served she had to ask who wanted what as she had forgotten, she did the same again with the meals. It appears that the staff members can only do one thing at a time and only at a snails pace. The location and views for this hotel are superb, the service for the money paid disgraceful.
